About the role

Founding member of Glean's forward deployed team responsible for discovering and building new product surfaces for strategic customers, with founder-level ownership and close collaboration with C-suite, FDPMs, and Glean's engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Discover and build Glean's next product surfaces: 0-to-1 product creation, designing and shipping new capabilities that become part of Glean's offerings.
  • Lead deep opportunity discovery: analyze business problems, identify unsolved value, test hypotheses with customers, and determine fastest path to learnings.
  • Be a technical partner to the C-suite: articulate what is being built, its value, and risks to executives.
  • Scale what works: collaborate with R&D to make successful solutions repeatable and scalable.
  • Stay at the frontier with Glean's R&D: inform product evolution through field insights.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in technical roles with a track record of shipping production software.
  • Experience as a founder or in forward deployed engineering roles is a plus.
  • 0-to-1 build track record: produced production software from scratch used at scale.
  • Production AI experience: shipping AI-powered solutions, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
  • Full-stack technical depth: strong programming skills across the stack and understanding of enterprise systems.
