About the role

Performs quality control and translation tasks, leads linguistic projects, trains freelancers, and ensures high standards and timely delivery in French Canadian language services.

Responsibilities

  • Performing quality control tasks on assigned projects or accounts (EN > FRCA)
  • Performing on-demand translation tasks (EN > FRCA)
  • Performing trans-creation, translation and post-editing tasks (EN > FRCA)
  • Performing other translation-related admin tasks (EN > FRCA)
  • Managing project-related queries
  • Preparing, managing, and maintaining language materials (glossaries, Style Guides, work instructions)
  • Interacting with clients on linguistic matters as required
  • Developing and training freelancers
  • Ensuring good team interaction and resolving terminology and language issues
  • Participating in the development of new working processes
  • Achieving goals set by the French Team Lead

Qualifications

  • University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent
  • 3+ years in the translation and localization industry
