About the role

Translation of patents from Japanese into English, specializing in fields such as Electricity, Computer Science, Mechanics, and Medical Devices, with a focus on style, accuracy, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Translate patent-related content from Japanese into English, conveying original meaning in a readable and understandable manner.
  • Follow instructions regarding translation process and CAT tool usage.
  • Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in patent fields.
  • Native fluency in target language (English).
  • Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
