About the role

Seeking English into Chinese (Simplified) linguists for a global client in music streaming, focusing on translation, review, and interpretation of marketing, product, and support content.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and review content from English into Chinese (Simplified) with original meaning conveyed in a readable and understandable manner for the target audience.
  • Content types include Marketing, Product, Support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Native fluency in Chinese (Simplified).
  • Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
  • Able to follow instructions, e.g., character restrictions.
  • Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind translation skills.
  • Able to both translate and review.
  • Experience in working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
