About the role

Pre-Sales Engineer role in Romania (Remote), focusing on technical seminars, customer engagements, and collaboration with distributors and installers to promote Ajax Systems solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical seminars, exhibitions, presentations, webinars on the product (for customers and company employees)
  • Meetings with current and potential customers to present technical solutions and advantages of the Ajax system
  • Teach technical staff at Ajax Systems distributors and dealers to increase their knowledge of products and technology
  • Introduce product roadmaps and new features for Ajax Systems distributors, as well as installers
  • Promote and introduce product solutions according to customer thesis, technical consultation, and support of Ajax’s partners
  • Market research and comparative characteristics of products of the competitors
  • Develop long-term relationships with key partners of the company
  • Test product features and write technical documentation for new products or solutions, and collaborate with the rest of the team
  • Analyze customer needs in collaboration with the sales department.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree: University Degree in IT, Engineering
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in Alarm Systems, video surveillance, security, telecommunications and other related areas
  • Excellent working knowledge of Intrusion Systems, Analogue and IP CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • Experience in installing/designing video surveillance systems, fire alarms, or other security systems
  • Experience of public speaking (as an advantage)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible in terms of business trips, trade shows, product presentations and more
  • Outgoing personality and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the security systems field
  • Proficiency in understanding and explaining complex technical concepts related to security systems
  • Good presentation skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
