About the role

Founding member of Glean's forward deployed team responsible for discovering and building next-generation product surfaces for strategic customers, with founder-level ownership and close collaboration with C-suite, FDPMs, and Glean's engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Discover and build Glean's next product surfaces: 0-to-1 product creation with no predefined scope, designing and shipping new capabilities.
  • Lead deep opportunity discovery to identify structurally broken areas and the fastest path to testable solutions.
  • Be a technical partner to the C-suite: articulate plans, risks, and value to executives.
  • Scale what works by making it repeatable with core R&D to ensure scalability.
  • Stay at the frontier with Glean's R&D team, informing future platform capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in technical roles with a track record of shipping production software.
  • 0-to-1 build track record: produced production software from scratch in ambiguous environments.
  • Production AI experience: shipped AI-powered solutions (prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, deployment at scale).
  • Full-stack technical depth across the stack with enterprise systems experience.
  • Business acumen to diagnose customer problems and connect to product hypotheses.
  • Customer instinct and the ability to build trust at all organizational levels.
  • Builder's judgment to scope realistically and ship into production quickly.
  • Curiosity and scrappiness to deeply understand problems and find paths forward.
  • Travel willingness: 25–50%.
