About the role

Freelance translator and proofreader specialized in Life Sciences, Oncology, for clinical research / clinical trials documents, translating from English to Taiwan Traditional Chinese.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and edit content from English into Taiwan Traditional Chinese with original meaning conveyed in a readable and understandable manner.
  • Work on investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy documents related to Oncology clinical research and clinical trials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience translating and editing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Proficient in all areas of expertise: Investigator-facing, patient-facing, with experience in Oncology.
  • Experience in translating documents for clinical research/clinical trials.
  • Excellent communications skills in Traditional Chinese and English.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Able to communicate the rationale behind translation skills.
  • Able to both translate and copy edit.
  • Proficient in Track Changes function in Word.
