About the role

Solutions Consultant based in New York City to support pre-sales, craft solutions, translate customer needs into workflow proposals, and partner with GTM and Implementation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows
  • Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the Implementation team at Tabs to ensure tight alignment with product capabilities
  • Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets
  • Provide guidance on integrating Tabs into clients' broader tech stack, which often involves navigating complex systems like ERP, CRM, and BI tools
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a consultative approach to technical and business problem-solving

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of overall experience, ideally with Big 4, management consulting or direct accounting experience at a tech start up
  • Familiarity with how systems like ERPs or CRMs integrate in a complex technology stack and ability to drive technical consultative partnership with CFOs and Controllers
  • Bonus points for experience in accounting, either as a CPA or prior experience working directly with accountants/controllers
  • Bonus points for experience in order to cash processes and / or commercial proposals
