About the role

Seeking qualified raters to evaluate personalized visual design and geospatial recommendations on digital maps, assessing aesthetic quality, usability, and geospatial accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
  • Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
  • Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
  • Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues such as icons not properly masked or labels too small.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English (US) and based in the United States.
  • Professional Design Background: Proven experience in Visual Design, UI/UX, or Graphic Design.
  • Proficient iPhone/iOS user, focusing on the mobile experience.
  • An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage on Google Maps.
  • Familiarity with geospatial tools or evaluation interfaces (e.g., Tileworks or side-by-side interfaces) is a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to follow strict instructions and identify Trust & Safety violations.
  • Opt-in consent to allow access to limited activity history for task personalization.
