About the role

Automation Strategist role in Zapier's Customer Success organization, blending strategic advisory, orchestration design, and value-focused relationship expansion to guide enterprise customers in automation and AI-enabled transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Guide Customers’ Automation Strategy: Build deep relationships, advise on governance and cross-functional program structure, help customers set goals and adopt AI-orchestrated processes across lines of business.
  • Discover and Deploy High-Value Use Cases: Identify opportunities through exec alignment and stakeholder input; co-design scalable implementation patterns; translate problems into orchestration strategies with measurable value.
  • Drive Customer Outcomes: Demonstrate ROI, unlock new value paths, accelerate renewal and expansion by deepening maturity.
  • Collaborate Across Zapier: Partner with Sales, Support, Product, and others to deliver a unified customer experience; influence roadmap decisions, positioning and GTM.
  • Build a World-Class Program: Scale methodologies and assets that define automation strategy at Zapier and drive enterprise adoption.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in SaaS (customer success, consulting, solutions, enterprise product or similar)
  • Strong strategic, customer-centric problem-solving skills; ability to operate across executive sponsors to execution teams.
  • Experience translating business goals into product/automation solutions; ROI and value-based thinking.
