About the role
Accountant role focused on building scalable AI-powered accounting workflows for Truewind's customers, owning relationships post-onboarding, and translating GAAP realities into product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Investigate the customers' accounting process to identify pain points
- Support the AE in the sales process by facilitating the POC
- Own the long-term relationship with customers after onboarding
- Partner with controllers, finance leads, and accounting teams to ensure compounding value from Truewind
- Run success plans, lead recurring check-ins, and keep stakeholders aligned on goals and close improvements
- Translate close, reconciliation, and supporting-doc requirements into Truewind processes for customers
- Connect GAAP reality to product capabilities, ensuring workflows are accurate, auditable, and scalable
- Lead enablement (trainings, playbooks, best practices), surface new use cases, and expand Truewind rollout
- Deliver front-line feedback to Product/Engineering, triage issues, and improve handoffs and playbooks
- Become a Truewind product expert and teach customers how to maximize the digital accountant experience
- Be AI-native by building new AI solutions for the accounting workflow functions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (public accounting/audit or industry close/GL/revenue/AP)
- Prior client-facing work (implementation, advisory, consulting, solutions, etc.)
- Strong grasp of US GAAP and end-to-end close process
- Ability to translate requirements into systems + workflows
- Comfortable learning new tools and working with messy inputs (bank/CC activity, POS systems, payroll data, supporting docs)
- High ownership, strong follow-through, and clear written + verbal communication
