About the role

Design and operate the internal platform enabling engineers to ship quickly, safely, and reliably, with a focus on automation, AI-native workflows, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Building and evolving internal developer platforms (IDPs) for deployment, environment provisioning, and operational tooling.
  • Supporting self-serve developer environments for quick iteration.
  • Enabling and scaling AI-assisted engineering operations, including access management and developer productivity measurement.
  • Improving system reliability, scalability, and performance across distributed services and workloads.
  • Optimizing CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment friction.
  • Operating production systems with emphasis on uptime, incident response, and recovery automation.
  • Partnering with teams to improve service architecture and operational maturity.
  • Enhancing cost efficiency and infrastructure utilization.
  • Supporting secure and compliant cloud infrastructure aligned with SOC2 and enterprise security practices.
  • Participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Deep experience operating production workloads on AWS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
  • Experience running containerized and serverless systems at scale.
  • Understanding of distributed systems reliability and failure modes.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with incident response, on-call, and production debugging.
  • Knowledge of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
