About the role

Analytics Systems Administrator responsible for ETL into Hosted SQL Server databases, supporting customers in data mining with Epic’s analytical applications and reporting tools. Focus on data integrity, timely ETLs, and solving customer reporting issues within Epic’s multi-tenant hosting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) into the Hosted SQL Server databases for Epic’s customers
  • Help customers mine data using Epic's analytical applications and other reporting tools
  • Ensure quick ETLs and data integrity
  • Work closely with Epic’s customers to ensure reports complete in a timely manner and resolve issues quickly
  • Determine best practices for uploading, downloading, and utilizing large data sets within Epic’s data warehouse

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or greater in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, MIS/CIS, Informatics, Economics, Operations Research, or other science-related field
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area (Reimbursed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination
