About the role

Ziina is seeking a driven and hands-on FP&A Manager to design, implement, and own the company’s entire financial planning and analysis ecosystem from the ground up. This foundational, high-impact role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision support for leadership and external parties in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and own the company’s first end-to-end FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, templates, and reporting standards.
  • Build and maintain the company-wide budget and quarterly re-forecasts from scratch, consolidating inputs from all departments.
  • Create and manage dynamic, driver-based financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow; develop scenario analysis tools for strategic options.
  • Design and deliver monthly KPI dashboards, P&L reports, and variance analyses for leadership, investors, and the Board; establish review cadences.
  • Act as a strategic business partner with Product, Ops, and Engineering to translate operational activities into financial impact.
  • Build financial data infrastructure with mapping, validation, and reconciliation processes for accurate FP&A reporting.
  • Lead data analysis using SQL or similar tools to pull and manipulate raw datasets, ensuring data integrity.
  • Produce investor updates and Board materials with a unified financial model for external communications.
  • Continuously automate forecasting, reporting, and data workflows to improve efficiency and scale.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a high-growth startup, FinTech, or technology company.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills with a track record of building company-wide models from scratch.
  • Deep proficiency in data manipulation and analysis, with strong knowledge of SQL or other querying languages.
  • Strong data visualization and reporting skills (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
