About the role

Senior CPU Performance Developer Technology Engineer responsible for research and development techniques to optimize cloud and HPC CPU workloads on NVIDIA CPU, engaging with developer communities, guiding framework developers, collaborating across NVIDIA teams, and influencing next-generation architectures and software stack.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with the developer community and experts to understand and address current and future problems.
  • Guide key framework and application developers, contribute to their software stacks, libraries, or develop reference code.
  • Collaborate with architecture, research, libraries, tools, system software, and product management teams to improve products.
  • Influence the design of next-generation NVIDIA architectures and software stack by evaluating impact on application performance and developer efficiency.

Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/or Fortran with solid software design, programming techniques, and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with benchmarking and optimizing enterprise and cloud workloads
  • Good communication and organization skills, with logical problem solving, time management, and prioritization abilities
