About the role

PCB design layout engineer for high speed/high-density PCBs, focusing on layout, floor planning, and signal integrity using Cadence Allegro tools, in a multidisciplinary NVIDIA environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCB layout of high speed/high-density PCBs for multiple NVIDIA business units using Cadence Allegro 23.1 and Capture.
  • Develop PCB layout, floor planning, and detailed component placement with topology, signal/trace integrity considerations.
  • Manage constraints including SI, EMI/RFI, FCC/UL/European regulations, IPC specifications, and NRC regulations.

Qualifications

  • B.S.E.E or Computer Science degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 12+ years industry experience
  • Experience in high-speed PCB design is a plus
  • Knowledge of PCB design, layout, routing, and timing constraints, DFM, DFA, and DFT constraints in volume manufacturing
  • Understanding of High-Density Interconnect PCB layout and PCB Signal Integrity
  • Proven ability to work in a team with personal responsibility for contributions
  • Agility in changing focus as needs evolve
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
