About the role

Seeking a Prompt Engineer responsible for managing the technical migration workflow to enhance model performance using prompt engineering techniques, primarily for transitioning templates to LLM autoraters.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Automatic Prompt Generation (APG) tools to create baseline prompts for complex parent-child template clusters.
  • Run and supervise Automated Prompt Optimization (APO) tools, review outputs, and flag deadlocks or plateaus.
  • Manually draft, test, and refine prompts for complex templates, anti-patterns, and edge cases.
  • Monitor shadowbot runs for disagreements between human and LLM ratings.
  • Evaluate prompt versions against established gold data, calculating accuracy metrics such as F1, precision, and recall.
  • Draft technical launch readiness justifications (Launch Certification Documentation).

Qualifications

  • Native fluency in Portuguese.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, HCI, Cognitive Science, or related field.
  • At least 4 years experience as Prompt Engineer.
  • Proven experience tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis with SQL or similar tools.
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
