About the role

AI-native sales tax solution company Numeral is hiring a Product Operations Analyst to join a fast-growing, autonomous early-stage startup. Role focuses on data-driven operational support, SQL-driven analytics, and collaboration with product/ops to improve customer experience and scale processes.

Responsibilities

  • - Analyze and interpret complex data to drive operational improvements
  • - Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL
  • - Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success to optimize workflows
  • - Own parts of the operational playbook and scale processes as the company grows
  • - Support AI-native tooling adoption to enhance output and efficiency
  • - Act with ownership in a high-autonomy startup environment

Qualifications

  • - 1 to 3 years of professional experience in analytical, operations, data, or product-adjacent roles
  • - Strong SQL experience and ability to wrangle complex data
  • - Experience with or interest in AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code)
  • - Scrappy, high-autonomy startup mindset
  • - Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA
  • - Customer-obsessed mindset and comfort with ambiguity
