About the role

Seeking an experienced recording director to oversee live, in-person recording sessions, guiding performers to produce high-quality, culturally relevant content in professional studio environments worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Direct performers in recording sessions to achieve accurate, high-quality, and engaging results.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to performers to enhance delivery.
  • Collaborate with the studio team to ensure recordings meet project standards and cultural relevance.
  • Supervise both scripted and improvised performances to ensure clarity, energy, and authenticity.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving during live sessions to maintain workflow.

Qualifications

  • Native or professional proficiency in Spanish (Mexico) and English (C1/C2 level).
  • Background in public speaking, acting, teaching, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to address performers' lack of confidence, provide constructive feedback, and guide improvisation.
  • Comfortable working in a professional studio environment and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail in cultural performance relevance.
  • Availability for in-person recording sessions (minimum 6-8 hours per session).
