About the role

Senior System Software Engineer for the Tegra system software group, focusing on designing, developing, and validating software for complex heterogeneous computing systems powering AI, HPC, and accelerated workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing test and framework that can efficiently validate and stress SOC/System across full software development lifecycle (user-space, kernel, firmware or boot software)
  • Architecting and driving new diagnostic software solutions for bring up, manufacturing, hardware qualification, failure analysis and custom platforms
  • Spearheading initiatives to improve efficiency, robustness and user friendliness of software for design validation, thermal & power characterization, manufacturing screening, and external customers bring up
  • Understanding and participating in debug/root cause analysis of very complex board/system level failures
  • Communicating optimally with various teams, customers, and partners

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in EE/CS or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of industry related experience
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience with low level / driver level programming
  • Understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Expert communication, interpersonal and planning skills
