About the role

Leadership role responsible for tracking and recovery of NVIDIA’s fixed assets globally through end-of-life processes, asset dispositions, transfers, and periodic cycle counts within the Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all fixed assets are physically or systematically verified and aligned with the data center infrastructure management system and asset tracking systems
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of records across accounting and operational asset tracking systems throughout the asset life cycle (acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, verification, and disposals) including classification, useful life, and depreciation method
  • Drive global process automation and continuous improvement initiatives for fixed assets across accounting entities and operational teams
  • Develop expertise in the fixed asset ERP system
  • Maintain understanding of the purchase requisition approval process and provide training to ensure uniform practices
  • Lead and coordinate periodic physical inventory and update system records accordingly
  • Assist in developing and documenting asset accounting processes including transfer, cycle count, and disposition procedures; monitor system controls
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control processes

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience) with knowledge of US GAAP
  • 7+ years of related Fixed Assets accounting experience (preferably at a Fortune 100 company)
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience with accounting software (preferably SAP) and data center infrastructure management tools for electronic asset tracking
  • Demonstrated experience automating processes in data center asset management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
