About the role

Seeking experienced translators to translate patents from Italian to English, focusing on fields like Electricity, Computer Science, Mechanics, and Medical Devices, with immediate availability for freelance projects.

Responsibilities

  • Translate patent-related content from Italian into English, conveying original meaning in a readable and understandable manner.
  • Follow instructions regarding translation process and CAT tool usage.
  • Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing patent content.
  • Native fluency in English.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Able to translate, copy edit, and perform MTPE.
