About the role

Senior tech business developer responsible for acquiring enterprise customers, defining strategic market development plans, negotiating complex technology contracts, and coordinating with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to deliver Just Walk Out Technology solutions within AWS Solutions (AAIS).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute on a strategic market development plan in partnership with internal stakeholders (sales, product, marketing, partner teams, legal, etc.).
  • Identify and engage key partners including retailers, ISVs, and system integrators.
  • Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners at the executive level.
  • Understand the technical requirements of customers and work with internal development teams to guide product direction.
  • Understand the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
  • Present business reviews to senior management on progress and roadblocks for retail expansion.
  • Manage complex contract and financial negotiations and liaise with legal and finance groups.
  • Handle a high volume of engagements in a fast-paced, emerging technology environment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 6+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
