About the role

Technical authority for strategic automotive and robotics partnerships in Japan, bridging NVIDIA DRIVE, Hyperion, Halos OS, Alpamayo and Cosmos with production-grade requirements for OEMs and global partners.

Responsibilities

  • Physical AI Innovation: tailor Alpamayo reasoning VLA model for the Japanese market, enabling natural language instructions, synthetic world generation and physical reasoning for complex long-tail scenarios.
  • Architectural Stewardship: align customer requirements with NVIDIA DRIVE architecture across system software, safety architecture, embedded AI, development/validation tools, and cloud solutions.
  • Industry Advocacy & Standardization: represent NVIDIA in Japanese industry forums, regulatory bodies, and events to influence functional safety and Physical AI certification standards; promote DRIVE Hyperion, Halos OS, Alpamayo and Cosmos.
  • Strategic Partnerships: act as technical authority for RFIs/RFQs, define technical vision for software deployments with Alpamayo and Halos OS for seamless concept-to-product transitions.
  • Engineering Excellence: set standards for scaling physical AI production deployment, including real-time design principles, observability, and high-fidelity Omniverse NuRec simulations.

Qualifications

  • University degree, or equivalent knowledge, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related principle.
  • 15+ years of ADAS industry experience, with hands-on experience designing and deploying multiple generations of AI-based active-safety solutions.
  • Cross-domain engineering proficiency across system software, real-time systems, sensors, and end-to-end AI systems.
  • Experience interacting with and building partnerships with technical executives.
  • 5+ years experience in a high-impact leadership position.
