About the role

Senior Systems Engineer responsible for overseeing development hardware/software integration for Amazon Prime Air drone delivery, ensuring safety-critical software/hardware certification, and coordinating across design and other engineering disciplines to meet Design Assurance Levels and software development standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee software development, verification, configuration management, and quality assurance to ensure compliance to Design Assurance Levels and software development standards
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience as a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program manager with significant experience in complex systems
  • Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
