About the role
IT Support Engineer at a Japanese fulfillment center (FC) within OTS Field IT. Responsible for operating and stabilizing IT infrastructure inside fulfillment centers, performing internal help desk support, and assisting with new business deployments and IT-related projects. Emphasizes ownership, adaptability, and collaboration in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide internal help desk support
- Support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, systems, and client devices in Amazon fulfillment centers, including safety management
- Arrange and manage LAN and power wiring; manage server room and rack operations
- Asset management (procurement, management, and disposal of IT equipment and supplies)
- Safety management of IT equipment within the fulfillment center
- Provide project support for the introduction of new businesses and coordinate with other teams
- Propose improvements and provide consulting for warehouse operations using IT infrastructure
