About the role

Senior Finance Analyst role focusing on fixed costs for Brazil Fulfillment Centers, partnering with business teams to support decision-making, financial modeling, controllership, and cost controls within Amazon's Brazil operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fixed cost planning and controllership processes
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews focused on fixed costs, planning, and forecasting
  • Drive continuous standardization and simplification of planning processes
  • Develop tools for better understanding of Brazil's financial performance
  • Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to lead improvements and cost reduction
  • Build financial models and present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Establish partnerships within the finance organization to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
  • Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
  • Experience interpreting and applying financial KPIs
  • Experience identifying, leading, and executing fixed and/or variable cost improvements
  • Experience with automation, standardization, or simplification of financial tools and processes
  • Experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis
  • Fluent English
