About the role

iOS Engineer role on Robinhood's Money Experience team, building customer-facing money movement features (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, guided transfer flows, net worth tracker) and improving iOS experiences for transferring money between accounts. Based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain iOS features that support equities trading, brokerage account management, and customer onboarding experiences
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, compliance partners, and operations teams to deliver reliable mobile functionality tied to customer and business goals
  • Improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and release processes for the iOS platform
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across the codebase
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative engineering processes that support platform reliability and maintainability

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications
  • Proficiency in Swift and experience developing applications using modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns
  • Experience collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features
  • Comfort in improving application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable engineering practices
  • Clear communication of technical concepts and constructive participation in design reviews, planning discussions, and code reviews
