About the role

Staff Software Engineer at Confido, an AI-powered financial automation platform for CPG brands. Responsible for architecting and building core systems powering the Confido platform, leading major product and infrastructure initiatives (including AI-powered document ingestion and large-scale financial analytics), and mentoring the team. Location: New York, NY (relocation supported).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of major platform and product systems
  • Architect scalable infrastructure for financial data processing and analytics
  • Build systems that ingest and process financial data across multiple sources
  • Develop AI-powered workflows for document ingestion and financial automation
  • Partner with product and leadership to shape technical strategy and roadmap
  • Mentor engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong systems design and architecture experience
  • Proven ability to build and scale complex production systems
  • Strong product instincts and ability to translate real-world workflows into software
