About the role

Junior QA Engineer for back-end testing in the QA Server Manual Team, located in Lviv. Full-time, on-site position focusing on manual and backend testing within a growing security technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Test Back-end functionality
  • Work with binary protocol, gRPC, and API
  • Test within monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Work with databases and stores: MongoDB, Redis, S3
  • Work with internal simulators
  • Participate in analysis and updates of technical documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, Beta Test participants, and Support team
  • Work with Git and Jenkins

Qualifications

  • Understanding of software testing theory and SDLC/STLC
  • Skills to create and maintain various testing documentation
  • Deep understanding of client-server architecture
  • Understanding of REST API principles
  • Understanding of database fundamentals
