About the role

Role focused on designing, building, and operating shared infrastructure services, cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure-by-default platform services to support development teams across Recorded Future.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain infrastructure services used by development teams across the organization.
  • Contribute to platform capabilities around data handling, encryption, and certificates.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using GitOps principles.
  • Help operate and improve our AWS cloud infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support infrastructure availability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across infrastructure and applications.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Experience with an Infrastructure as Code tool.
  • Solid Linux fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
  • Familiarity with TLS and certificates, and an interest in growing in this area.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work well in a team.
