About the role

Senior role focused on building and deploying applications that leverage PhysicsX's physics AI models for customers, collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and customers, with occasional on-site work.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ship physics models to customers and shape UX with designers and frontend engineers.
  • Design end-to-end applications and prototypes for customers, iterating with user feedback.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs (FastAPI) and Python microservices to serve Large Physics Models.
  • Deploy applications to cloud (using Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/Azure) in collaboration with the platform team.
  • Distill complex solutions into core platform components and drive feature development on top of PhysicsX core offerings.

Qualifications

  • Technical breadth across full stack; strong software engineering foundation, API design, and production deployment experience.
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or similar is a plus.
  • Proactive, high-ownership attitude with ability to solve problems end-to-end.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset; ability to work alongside customers to identify problems and deliver impactful solutions.
