About the role

Graduate Area Manager role based in Amazon Australia, focusing on leading and developing a team at a fulfillment centre or delivery station, driving safety, process efficiency, and readiness for a career in operations and logistics. Night shift role with training and mentorship, offering onboarding and ongoing development within the Graduate Program.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site
  • Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
  • Collaborating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
  • Reviewing work forecasts and determining requirements to meet daily building objectives
  • Demonstrating problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Leading a team or a process from day one in a Fulfillment Centre/Delivery Station
  • Training and integration of your team and driving progress toward excellence
  • Monitoring and maintaining process efficiency while prioritising safety and forecasting needs
  • Engaging with other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets
  • Analyzing data and performance metrics with business area leaders
  • Discussing operational implications of technical improvements with engineers

Qualifications

  • Completed a tertiary qualification (undergraduate or post-graduate) in the last 24 months in engineering (non-software) or science (logistics, supply chain management)
