About the role

Senior full-stack software engineer at X, focusing on building and deploying AI-powered supply chain solutions, bridging cutting-edge AI research with real-world enterprise applications in an early-stage, fast-paced moonshot environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, production-grade AI enterprise software across the entire stack during the development lifecycle, from ideation and architectural design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance in complex enterprise environments
  • Help drive and execute key decisions on software architecture and features
  • Develop experiences that inspire confidence, delight and resonate with end users, and encourage adoption and trust
  • Proactively identify opportunities for maximizing software business impact through leveraging advanced AI capabilities
  • Drive end-to-end technical initiatives, from initial application ideation and prototyping to full-scale development, delivery, and scaling within customer environments
  • Approach your work with an ownership mindset, taking initiative and seeing problems through to resolution
  • Actively mentor teammates, sharing knowledge and helping others grow in their technical craft

Qualifications

  • BS or equivalent practical experience in computer science, applied math, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing production-grade enterprise/business software
  • Exceptional breadth and depth in full-stack software engineering, including user interface development and working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • Strong proficiency in Python development, with extensive experience in the latest Python toolchains and frameworks, including developing for various platforms and LLM Python toolset (Pytorch, Langchain)
  • Experience with collaborative software development workflows and platforms including GitHub, agile development/scrum, unit testing, CI/CD, and production operations
  • Experience using LLMs to optimize software development processes and workflows
  • Experience integrating AI into enterprise software environments including LLMs, RAG, and Foundation Models, with an understanding of agentic behaviors, tool use, and reasoning capabilities
  • Experience with deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and understanding infrastructure primitives (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm charts)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically about driving complex initiatives to completion
  • Ability to thrive and execute quickly in an environment of change and uncertainty
