About the role

Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support National Security customers within AWS Enterprise Support. Acts as strategic technical advisor and voice of the customer, guiding adoption of AWS services across Compute, Storage, Database, ML/AI, Security, Networking, Serverless and more. Requires US Citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph; travel 10%+; not a sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic technical advisor and voice of the customer to National Security clients.
  • Craft and execute strategies to drive adoption and use of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, CodePipeline, IoT, etc.).
  • Represent AWS within the customer's environment and facilitate discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices; keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Develop close relationships to understand business/operational needs and technical challenges; help customers derive maximum value from AWS.
  • Travel as required (10% or more).
  • Collaborate with various teams to diagnose problems and propose solutions, potentially involving DoD/Federal clearances as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience
  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Experience informational technology operations
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
