About the role

Remote insurance authorization specialist focused on Single Case Agreements (SCAs) and Prior Authorizations (PAs) to enable timely patient access to Sailor Health's mental health care for older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of Single Case Agreements (SCAs) with insurance payers
  • Submit, track, and follow up on Prior Authorizations (PAs) to ensure timely approvals
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues and move cases forward
  • Gather and organize clinical documentation required for submissions
  • Maintain accurate records across internal systems (e.g., EHR, CRM)
  • Identify and escalate delays, denials, or payer issues proactively
  • Partner with internal teams (clinical, intake, billing) to ensure seamless patient access to care
  • Continuously improve workflows to increase speed and approval rates

  • Experience in Prior Authorizations (PAs)
