About the role

Technical Marketing Manager responsible for proving xLake Data & AI Platform to enterprise buyers through demos, technical content, and field representation. Delivers reference architectures, demos, talks, and launches to data architects, enterprise architects, and AI practitioners. Requires on-site presence at HQ three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain working sample applications and reference implementations on xLake (agent runtime across cloud/on-prem, MCP-driven agent scenario on governed data, multi-engine observability tracing failures to upstream lineage) and package into repeatable demo assets.
  • Create technical material for technical buyers (reference architectures, technical deep-dives, solution briefs, benchmarks, whitepapers) targeted at data architects, enterprise architects, and AI practitioners.
  • Represent Acceldata in the field (live demos at events, support SDRs in early-stage screening, deliver conference sessions and technical presentations)
  • Power product launches and announcements by providing demos, reference architectures, and launch talks; translate shipped capabilities into compelling technical narratives for different audiences; collaborate with product marketing/management.
  • Standard technical marketing activities (launch content, competitive positioning, sales enablement, field feedback loop to product)

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in technical marketing engineering, developer relations, solutions/sales engineering, or hands-on architect role
  • Hands-on with data engines (Spark, streaming, warehouses, lakes), Kubernetes, APIs, and modern AI/agent tooling (LLM APIs, MCP, agent frameworks)
  • Strong writer and presenter with stage presence
  • Ability to engage both data architects and AI practitioners with credibility
  • On-site three days per week at HQ
  • Bonus: domain background in data observability, data management, or governance
  • Bonus: existing conference speaking track record
  • Bonus: previously built demos or sample apps for a platform product
