About the role

Staff Product Support Engineer / Product Specialist (Cloud Support SME) at Acceldata, focused on resolving complex customer challenges across cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one. Aims to deliver faster resolutions and ensure seamless operations so customers can monitor, predict, and optimize their data systems for impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Take on a pivotal role with higher accountability in swiftly resolving complex customer challenges in two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
  • Focus on delivering faster resolutions and ensuring seamless operations resolution, enabling customers to monitor, predict, and optimize their data systems for impactful business outcomes.
  • Manage support cases, troubleshoot intricate technical issues, and provide proactive solutions to empower organizations to maximize their data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to solve complex technical problems and continually improve support processes.
  • Interact directly with customers to provide operations expertise by leveraging deep knowledge and best practices in Data Quality, Cost Optimization, and Data Reliability in relation to the Acceldata Platform.
  • Handle situations calmly, bring a structured approach to problem-solving, and demonstrate tenacity with empathy for the customer’s situation.
  • Support operations in a 24/7 environment and be willing to adjust working hours accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience in customer-facing support, post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles, with a focus on Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Data Lakes.
  • Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as Kubernetes, Docker; familiarity with Linux distributions such as RHEL, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
