About the role

Senior policy leader to develop and implement global content policies for Prime Video, covering video-on-demand and live streaming, balancing customer trust, brand protection, and growth while coordinating with Operations, Legal, Public Policy, Public Relations, Product, and Tech.

Responsibilities

  • Develop or revise policy guidelines for all content on PV to build a trustworthy customer experience
  • Author policy guidelines for operators and automated mechanisms
  • Develop maturity ratings and content descriptor policies and guidelines inline with industry standards and business requirements
  • Lead discussions on policy calibrations by collaborating with Program, Legal, Business, Public Policy and Public Relations
  • Conduct benchmarking and academic research to develop risk assessment frameworks
  • Advise Business Managers on new content acquisitions by conducting risk assessments of new acquisitions
  • Serve as an owner and advisor on high-risk escalations
  • Serve as a Trust & Safety subject matter expert for product teams and provide business requirements to build internal analytical and moderation tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience working in a policy or risk management role on a global scale
  • 5+ years of experience developing new policies and process improvements at a global scale
  • In-depth knowledge of media content risks and industry standards and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely to senior leaders
