About the role

System Development Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and systems for a highly-available, resilient platform supporting Amazon WorkSpaces Personal and WorkSpaces Applications within the PEET team, including work on cloud infrastructure and security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
  • This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for two weeks in every quarter. When paged, work to resolve root causes to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
