Implementation Manager
About the role
An Implementation Manager is the customer-facing technical partner responsible for planning, coordinating, and launching integrations using the Gigs API. The role blends technical, strategic, and operational work across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Business Development to ensure successful API implementations for large customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer implementations. Scope and deliver API integrations tailored to each customer use case, ensuring the right feature set, API endpoints, and wireframes.
- Key technical contact. Advise customer engineering/product teams on implementation paths.
- User flow advisor. Advise on UX/UI and endpoints to build best-in-class user experience.
- Project management. Own portfolio of complex implementations; shape roadmaps, milestones, and track progress.
- Cross-functional coordination. Align Business Development, Marketing, Product, and Engineering toward a shared vision.
- Product Management. Identify feature needs and collaborate with product/engineering to implement them.
- Commercial Strategy. Understand commercial fundamentals of each implementation and drive high-conversion user flows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Implementation, Professional Services, or Product Management at a B2B or SaaS tech company (FinTech or HR preferred).
- Experience with complex API integrations and delivering them successfully.
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to handle multiple high-priority projects.
- Technical aptitude with understanding of APIs and webhooks; ability to influence product development.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including C-level executives.
- Proactive, creative, hands-on mindset; capable of building processes, playbooks, and assets from scratch.
