About the role

Early career information security engineer role based in Singapore focusing on building and maintaining safer systems through automation, vulnerability management, and cross-functional collaboration within Google's Core security team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop agents and infrastructure to automate vulnerability handling, triage, and conduct variant analysis to reduce manual workloads.
  • Contribute to a unified vulnerability analysis pipeline and dashboarding system to provide insights into emerging threats.
  • Contribute to the Singapore-based triage and remediation rotation, ensuring effective vulnerability reproduction, severity assessment, and bug filing for incoming security reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
  • 1 year of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
  • 1 year of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
