About the role

Senior technical leadership role focused on architectural evolution of Xometry’s flagship enterprise partnership, re-architecting core services to operate natively within partner ecosystems and enable zero-latency DFM feedback and one-click procurement within enterprise design environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance solutions that extend beyond a single org and establish engineering standards for embedding Xometry-AI into external PLM environments.
  • Advance architectural framework to be extensible, scalable, and compliant with enterprise SLIs/SLOs.
  • Lead integration of production ML pipelines into the application layer with optimized model serving and real-time geometry analysis; mentor engineers in AI tooling to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
  • Solve data gravity and security challenges; establish formal networks between partner and Xometry engineering groups to enable secure, ring-fenced data governance.
  • Set strategic direction and execute core integration, integrating DFM (Manufacturability) and IQE (Pricing) AI engines to create a competitive edge for the partnership.
  • Facilitate technical discourse across Xometry, guide risk/reward conversations with senior leadership, and champion cross-functional collaboration across marketplace and data science teams.
  • Define reliability and security standards for enterprise-grade deployments (partner-hosted or Xometry-hosted) and manage multi-tenant environments.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience with a history of scaling complex platforms.
  • Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks (React/NextJS) for complex enterprise apps.
  • Proven systems architect with experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing engineering patterns.
  • Track record of executing 6-12 month initiatives from endorsement to production deployment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
