About the role

Real-time governance for enterprise communications. Luthor is hiring a second full-time engineering hire to design and build the backbone of the platform, interfacing with customers to develop solutions for marketing compliance and scale the product.

Responsibilities

  • Ship to production on day one
  • Develop backend logic for performance and scalability for frontend requests
  • Design robust data models and manage databases
  • Build integration and product infrastructure for LLMs
  • Provide Luthor agents with the infrastructure, data sources, and tools to automate workflows for financial compliance
  • Lead customer calls to gather feedback and refine backend features
  • Own customer outcomes and success; continue shipping value
  • Lead architectural decisions to scale services across geographies, tech stacks, and business types
  • Hire, onboard, and nurture future backend teammates

Qualifications

  • Experience with Rails, React, Postgres (or similar)
  • LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent-based systems
  • Workflow automation or integration-heavy systems
  • Customer-obsessed mindset
  • Experience in Fast-Growth B2B (fintech or enterprise SaaS a bonus)
  • Entrepreneurial & Self-Driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Future founder mindset
