About the role
AI Solutions Architect role at Aalo Atomics focusing on turning workflows into production AI-enabled systems across internal teams, bridging engineering, operations, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Sit down with internal stakeholders, learn their workflows, and translate ambiguous problems into working requirements and implementation plans
- Build and iterate AI-enabled workflows from first pass to production through integration, edge-case handling, testing, hardening, rollout, and adoption support
- Work in a rapid delivery loop where AI-generated implementations are refined quickly into reliable internal tools
- Review, debug, and refine AI-generated code and workflows to ensure they are useful, maintainable, and safe to operate
- Use shared platform capabilities for observability, evaluation, and secure model access while helping improve them through real-world feedback
- Work closely with platform engineers and internal stakeholders to connect systems across departments and productize workflows that save time, reduce friction, improve operational quality, and earn trust with the teams that use them
- Contribute reusable components, patterns, and workflow solutions back to the broader internal AI platform
Qualifications
- Strong engineering fundamentals: design systems with clear data models, APIs, service boundaries, and integration patterns
- Clear, maintainable code; ability to judge correctness, security, and maintainability of generated code
- Strong engineering judgment to keep workflows simple yet reliable
- High output and follow-through: convert incomplete requirements or rough prototypes into working systems
- Handle integrations, edge cases, stakeholder feedback, and production issues without losing momentum
- Care about delivering working systems that internal users will adopt, not just demos
- AI-native working style: use AI coding agents or agentic development workflows
- Demonstrated interest in AI through real projects, experiments, or sustained tool usage
- Ability to guide, evaluate, and refine AI-generated code rather than rely on it blindly
- Team-first mindset: collaborate with internal clients, platform engineers, and cross-functional partners
- Clear communication, requirement gathering, bridging stakeholders and implementation
- Optimize for useful outcomes, adoption, and long-term maintainability
- Interest in where this is going: shifting toward higher-level system design, supervision, and evaluation
- Willingness to productize AI workflows while preserving human judgment and control
- Role evolving as the system becomes more capable
- Nice to Have: manufacturing/industrial systems/energy/nuclear/logistics experience; experience in regulated/high-reliability environments; background in internal tools and workflow software; familiarity with PLM/CAD-adjacent workflows and AI-driven tooling
