About the role

AI researcher role focusing on the development and optimization of GPU-accelerated efficient AI computing, including language models, visual generation, and robotics. Collaborative research with opportunities to publish, mentor, present at conferences, and transfer technology to product groups.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design and accelerate novel generative AI models on NVIDIA GPUs
  • Publish original research
  • Collaborate with other team members and teams
  • Mentor interns
  • Speak at conferences and events
  • Transfer technology to product groups
  • Collaborate with external researchers outside NVIDIA

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in computer science or electrical engineering with strong research track records
  • 4 years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of LLM and foundation models
  • Publication at leading conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, NeurIPS, MLSys)
  • Excellent programming skills in rapid prototyping environments such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) a plus
  • Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
  • Excellent communication skills
