About the role

Senior role focused on advancing NVIDIA's quantum product through AI-driven quantum algorithm discovery, advanced quantum simulations, and digital twins. Lead collaborations with supercomputing centers, drive AI for quantum algorithms, and publish research while engaging with strategic partnerships to expand customer adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead technical collaborations with supercomputing centers on hybrid quantum-classical application development across multiple industry verticals.
  • Lead research pathfinding in AI for quantum algorithms.
  • Lead all aspects of and drive the execution of technical results for projects in collaboration with strategic partnerships, including SCCs, leading QPU builders, and needle-moving researchers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer success.
  • Contribute to NVIDIA’s revenue stream through strategic technical engagement and the development of innovative solutions that support customer adoption and long-term partnerships.
  • Publish impactful research works and represent NVIDIA at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 9 years of experience working on Quantum Algorithms and Applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical collaborations with industry partners.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, and a parallel programming model (e.g., CUDA).
  • World-class communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A track record of research excellence demonstrated in publications and presentations at leading conferences.
