About the role

Modern Treasury is hiring Account Executives to join their Sales team. This is a high-volume closing role with depth, requiring both rapid qualification and strategic, consultative selling of a technical, API-first payments product. You’ll own your pipeline end to end, work with Sales Engineers on technical evaluations, and drive expansions and cross-sells across existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell primarily to founders, CTOs, and heads of product
  • Own your pipeline end to end from first conversation to live customer
  • Partner with Sales Engineers on technical evaluation
  • Drive expansions and cross-sells across existing customers
  • Develop deep product fluency to sell a technical product
  • Independently manage and develop your pipeline within 12 weeks
  • Close your first customers and contribute to sales process improvements

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Sales experience in closing deals
  • Bonus: experience selling a payments product, or working with stablecoins
  • Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • BA/BS required
