About the role
Product Engineer role at Speakeasy focused on the AI control plane, partnering with founders and customers to craft scalable web infrastructure, secure developer tooling, and intuitive dashboards for security and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own product decisions from inception to customer success
- Work on an early product with a fast moving team
- Collaborate with founders and customers directly on a daily basis
- Architect and scale modern web infrastructure
- Craft intuitive developer UIs for security and engineering teams
- Build web services (e.g., Golang) and work with open protocols like MCP
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
- Own the full lifecycle: building, shipping, running support, maintaining infrastructure and measuring impact
Qualifications
- Strong generalist and product engineer
- Experience across backend to frontend
- Ability to learn new frameworks quickly
- Experience with building and shipping customer-facing experiences
- On-call and incident response capability
- Ability to work in person in San Francisco
