About the role

Senior DevOps Engineer role focusing on building and securing Ajax Systems' cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with emphasis on automation, fault tolerance, and scalable platform development.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop our AWS Organization's core infrastructure
  • Improve the core infrastructure security posture
  • Build proactive monitoring
  • Put together cost-optimization plans and drive them
  • On-duty rotation: granting access to various services, incident investigation and response, joining investigations on NON-PROD environments

Qualifications

  • 3+ years working as a DevOps engineer
  • Solid command of Linux-based systems and TCP/IP networking
  • Hands-on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Comfortable writing code in at least one of: Golang, Node.js (TypeScript), Python, Groovy
  • Real AWS experience across the stack above — VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, ElastiCache, Route53, Lambda, CloudFront, and AWS security services (Config, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.)
  • Building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Hands-on operational experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Helm
